Vandalism to Campaign Signs is a Crime

We would like to remind the public that damaging campaign signs is illegal, after several candidates running in the municipal election campaign reported damage to signs.

People caught tampering with legally-placed candidate signs can face charges under the Criminal Code, including theft and mischief.
