Notice Of Reduced Load Restrictions Effective February 14, 2023, 8:00 A.M.

The municipality is preparing for a weather system that will greatly impact road conditions. There will be a quick thaw and rain system over the next week.

Due to these conditions, load restrictions start Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. on the municipal roads in Marmora Township only. Lake Township is not included at this time.

Reduced loads are necessary to protect the integrity of the municipal road system during the winter thaw. Enforcement of half-load restrictions will commence once half-load signs are erected.

Persons contravening this regulation will be prosecuted under Section 122 of The Highway Traffic Act.
