The Municipality of Marmora and Lake is a beautiful municipality, part of Hastings County and located in Eastern Ontario with a population of 4000. It is equidistant from Ottawa and Toronto and the main village is located along Highway 7. The largest village, Marmora, is surrounded by water from Crowe River, Crowe Lake and Beaver Creek. The Municipality of Marmora and Lake is seeking one (1) Manager of Parks, Recreation and Facilities who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to day operations and all aspects of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities in the Municipality including municipal buildings, arena, sports field(s), trails, parks, and open spaces.
The importance of this position will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our community's recreational facilities and parks. They will be responsible for providing customer centric services in accordance with our mission, vision, and policies. This position is responsible for managing significant material, financial, and information resources, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and safeguarding our community’s assets. The successful applicant will possess a secondary school diploma, a post secondary education in refrigeration and grounds maintenance and will have at least five-years related experience.

Rate of pay, as per 2024 Salary Grid:
Class 11: $88,823-$105,742.
