Public Notice: Surplus Land

PUBLIC NOTICE
MUNICIPALITY OF MARMORA AND LAKE

DECLARE AS SURPLUS

On May 7, 2024, Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake will be considering a bylaw to:

1.  Declare as surplus land in the Municipality of Marmora, shown as Part 2 on draft plan of survey by Watson Land Surveying, legally described as RDAL BTN CON 4 AND CON 5 MARMORA & ABUTTING LT 14; PT 2 21R26631; MARMORA & LAKE; COUNTY OF HASTINGS EXCEPT FORFEITED MINING RIGHTS, IF ANY, BEING PART OF PIN 40160-0232 LT;. A copy of the plan may be examined at the Municipal Office and on the municipal website, below.

2.  Sell the Property to Sean Ward and Stephen Fillmore under the terms and arrangements that may be agreed upon therefore.

Anyone who would like to speak in favour of or in opposition to the bylaw at the Council meeting on May 7, 2024, is welcome to attend at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, or register with the Deputy Clerk by noon on Friday May 3, 2024, to participate virtually.
